Bill Compulsory vaccination suddenly and unexpectedly about to be abolished in Austria
Surprise effect on Thursday morning: Apparently, the obligation to vaccinate should not only be suspended again, but completely abolished.
Just a few days after taking office, Health Minister Johannes Rauch announced that compulsory vaccination would be temporarily (for three months) suspended.
The next decision by the Compulsory Vaccination Commission came at the end of May: Postponed again.
Experts assumed that it would not strike over the summer either. But the necessary law for this has already been announced in a ready-made manner.
It was expected that it might be reinstated at the end of August, at the first sign of an autumn wave .
But now everything is apparently different: As "Der Standard" writes, several members of the National Council confirmed that the vaccination requirement should be completely abolished. A decision is expected to be announced this Thursday. SOURCE
